This paper proposes new procedures for computing some power indices in the class of weighted majority games using generating functions. Specifically, we present methods for computing the Johnston and Colomer-Martínez power indices. Additionally, we introduce a new power index that combines the ideas of the Johnston and Colomer-Martínez power indices, and propose a method for computing this new power index using generating functions.
